Our 2026 Missions Conference begins on Wednesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. We have nine missionary families who will be our special guests for this exciting week of emphasis on world missions. In addition, Dr. J.B. Godfrey, Vice President and Executive Director of Baptist International Missions, Inc. (BIMI), will be the conference speaker. Dr. Godfrey is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, as well as a former missionary, pastor, and college professor. As a bonus, FBT families can further bless these missionaries. Listed below are a few ways you can join this missions endeavor.

Meals with the Missionaries – Get to know the missionary families better by hosting them for a meal – either in your home or at a local restaurant. Mealtimes include supper during the week or lunch on Sunday. Sign-up sheets are available in the lobby with specific days and times.

International Fellowship – A favorite at FBT, this unique evening gives you the chance to dress in international/cultural attire from around the world. Following the service on Friday evening, a fellowship will be held in the Family Life Center – all are invited! Enjoy ‘taste-testing’ food and beverage samples from around the world, while spending time with your church family and our missionary guests.

Gift Cards – A great way to be an encouragement and help to our missionary guests is to provide them with additional resources by way of gift cards. Suggestions include pre-paid cards such as Visa, Mastercard, etc., branded gas station cards, retailer cards (Amazon, Walmart, etc.), and fast food restaurant cards (Chick-Fil-A, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, etc.). No sign-up is necessary for the gift cards this year. Simply purchase the cards for one, or all, of the missionaries and present to them at our congregational farewell at the end of the closing service on Sunday night. (Note: This is a sweet and precious time together for both the missionaries and our FBT family.)
