SCRIPTURE: Exodus 14:21-22

Rule #1 – Realize that God means for you to be where you are.
Rule #2 – Be more concerned for God’s glory than your relief.
Rule #3 – Acknowledge your enemy but keep your eyes on God.
Rule #4 – Pray.
Rule #5 – Keep calm and confident – give God time to work.
Rule #6 – When unsure, take the next logical step by faith.
Rule #7 – Envision God’s enveloping presence.
Rule #8 – Trust God to deliver in His own unique way.

Psalm 40:5; 118:5-14

1. God delivers but rarely in the exact same way.
2. God’s deliverance for one and not the other does not mean greater love for one over the other.
3. If you and I could bring about a solution, it is probably not a miracle from God (Judges 7:2, 7)
